Abidjan, April 24, 2024 - Attracting more exhibitors for the next International Exhibition of Agriculture and Animal Resources in Abidjan (SARA) scheduled for 2025 is the objective set by André Kouassi, general commissioner of SARA, at the The opening of the International Agricultural Show in Morocco (SIAM), on Monday April 22, 2024 in Meknes.

“We already have intentions of participation from a few countries. We are here to promote the 7th edition of SARA which will be held in 2025. Morocco being the gateway to the Middle East, we want to invite as many countries as possible from this part of the world and the Maghreb countries to the SARA 2025,” he said.

By coming to SIAM 2024, which has become a world reference in terms of exhibitors and visitors, Ivory Coast also wants to present the commercial opportunities of its agriculture and, at the same time, promote investment opportunities in different agricultural sectors.

It is at the international stand, on an area of 327 m2, that Ivory Coast presents its agricultural wealth to this exchange platform for professionals in the agricultural sector.

On the sidelines of the 2024 edition of SIAM, the 4th meeting of the ministerial conference of the initiative for the adaptation of African agriculture to climate change took place around the theme “Innovative financing to accelerate the adaptation of “African agriculture and climate”. This conference saw the participation of several African Ministers of Agriculture and representatives of international organizations and financing institutions.

Organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, SIAM 2024 will close its doors on April 28. This high mass of agriculture will highlight agricultural strategy, innovations in the sector, technologies and good practices for a more resilient, more sustainable and more environmentally friendly agriculture, in a global context marked by a unprecedented climate crisis.
