Tips for writing an effective press release
- Study the goal you want for the returns of your message. Hold the main! And then determine a clear objective for your press communication.
- Remember to write your press release "for the Web". (see the 3 principles of writing for the web) Add expressions and keywords to your message with Internet users in mind. Repeat these keywords but without excess.
- Email your text with links to pages on your site to assert your message for both the reader and the Google indexer.
- Imagine a catchy title for your press release and especially not too long in order to respect the requirements of the postings on Google.
- Put yourself in the reader's shoes and refrain from advertising your business. To make your message more informative, add sales or site visit statistics at the end.
- To write your press release, keep in mind that it will be read by journalists and not by customers. (especially avoid overemphasis)
- Insert links to your site by carefully choosing the text to click on as well as thinking about collateral keywords about you.
